Letter from a Newcomb heir in the Times-Picayune

This letter from Jane Matthis Smith, one of the heirs in Howard v. Tulane, appeared in the Times-Picayune on Friday, June 29, 2007, in response to “Rocking the Boat” (Times-Picayune, June 25, 2007), an article about a donor intent lawsuit against Tulane by heirs of Baldwin Wood, renowned inventor of the Wood Screw Pump.
