Donor Recognition
As a Major Donor to The Future of Newcomb College, Inc. (TFoNC), you will receive special recognition. Each giant oak that graces Newcomb’s campus grew from a small acorn. TFoNC selected the growing oak to represent the levels of our donors. Major donors will be honored, if desired, on a plaque to be installed in Newcomb Hall upon reinstatement of Newcomb College.

About the Artist
Sara Jane Reynolds is the mother of two Newcomb College graduates. She experienced the benefits of single-sex education as a high school and college student and wholeheartedly supports the efforts of TFoNC.
A native of Pasadena, California, Reynolds began painting as a child at the Pasadena Museum of Art. At Mayfield School for Girls, she studied with watercolorist and Scripps College Professor, Phyllis Helper Skelton, and received the Fine Arts award upon graduation. As a student at Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, Reynolds studied life drawing at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Upon graduation, she returned to the West Coast and attended Otis Art Institute and Art Center College of Design. Today, Reynolds lives on Johns Island in South Carolina where she draws inspiration from technicolor skies, extensive marsh lands and abundant bird life. She paints in oil, both in the studio and en plein air.
Reynolds is a member of the Oil Painters of America, Allied Artists of America and the California Arts Club. Her work as a garden and interior designer has been featured in Home Magazine.
